Take-Two Interactive President Karl Slatoff has stated that the company is "intrigued and excited" about the Nintendo Switch. The console releases in 2017.

Slatoff made the statement during the 20th Annual Credit Suisse Technology, Media & Telecom Conference yesterday. The statement is interesting because it may indicate that the company is planning on releasing titles for the console in the future.

Take-Two Interactive is the parent company of several popular game development studios, including Rockstar Games and 2K Sports, which owns several blockbuster intellectual properties such as Grand Theft Auto, BioShock, Red Dead Redemption and NBA 2K.

Despite the statement, Take-Two Interactive has yet to release any information that may suggest that it is actually working on titles for the Nintendo Switch.

Other companies that have praised the new console include Activision, Bethesda, EA Games, Capcom and Ubisoft.
