2K Games has released a new developer diary video for Mafia 3. In the video the game's developers are discussing the character Thomas Burke.

In Mafia 3 Thomas Burke is part of the Irish mafia and is based in a section of the city called Point Verdun. In the game Lincoln Clay contacts Burke once he realizes that he needs more than just Cassandra to help him overthrow the Marcanos.

Burke mostly spent his life drinking and indulging in pretty much every vice you can imagine. This caused him to get in hot water with Sal Marcano and as a result Sal sends The Butcher after Burke.

The Butcher attacks Burke with a crowbar and he gets permanently crippled when his leg gets hit in the attack.

When Lincoln comes along Burke feels he has the opportunity to get some payback. Burke wants to take out both Sal and The Butcher and when it is time to deal with The Butcher Burke wants to handle it himself.

Last week 2K Games released a developer diary video in which the developers of the game discuss Vito Scaletta's return in Mafia 3.

Mafia 3 launches on October 7th 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
