Indie development studio Klei has released a new gameplay trailer for Hot Lava. The game is based on the similarly named kids game in which the players imagine that the floor is made of lava and should thus be avoided.

In Hot Lava players must avoid standing on the ground in order to survive by jumping onto or over obstacles. The game features several levels, including a bedroom level, a classroom, a gym and a living room.

The development studio has not yet given a release date for the game but did announce that players are able to sign up for the PC beta test that is scheduled to start later this year.
